Jerry, this is George... I got nothin' to say

So the title of this post pretty much says it all... I am dry. I guess after knocking on death's door and then being caught in the women's bathroom, a person's "life excitement level" can only go downhill.

The title of this post is from Seinfeld (that is probably one of the more obvious things ever to be said on this blog). It is one of those lines that is applicable and useful in many situations. If you have not guessed, I am a movie/TV quote fiend. Specifically, I can usually bring just about anything back to an episode of Seinfeld. Well, anything that has very little substance to it. Deep things never happened on Seinfeld. They never took themselves too seriously - which is why it is my favorite sit-com. Friends, while entertaining, had moments of sappy love story drama. Seinfeld, on the other hand, even made fun of Schlindler's List (in a tactful and humorous way).

So for all the Seinfeld fans... share your favorite quotes.

I'm sure Joel will have a better one, but I really love the "candy bar lineup" episode, where you have a bird's eye view of George screaming "TWIIIIIIIIX!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Allow me to go public with what many already know about me...I hate Seinfeld. I think they're mean. I did not see the episode where they made fun of Schindler's List, but this only proves my point. I just finished reading a book on the Holocaust so it makes me sad, actually. :(

Sorry to be a downer on your otherwise hilarious Blog Todd, but I hate Seinfeld. :)

I am a soloblogposter (which means I typically only post on one blog). However, when Seinfeld is mentioned, I must post. Two words: "Serenity Now!"

Kristen... I appreciate your opinion, but I have to disagree with it.

I am one of the first to get irate when people make fun of the Holocaust... but this was making fun of the movie (a particular scene in the movie) and not the Holocaust itself. I just wanted to clear that up.

So it is OK that you don't like Seinfeld... I will not think less of you.

"Serenity now!" is definitely one of the best lines (and I use it often). Another good one that jumps to mind is "A Festivus for the rest of us". (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus)

As a side note, I'm hurt that Shanna is now a multi-blogger, but still hasn't posted on my site. ;)

"You got the hen, the rooster, and the chicken. The rooster sleeps with the hen. Who's sleeping with the chicken?"

"They're all chickens!"

"I don't know ... something's missing."

"Oh ... something's missing alright."

"Because people like to say 'salsa'!"
